Hi, it is nice to meet you, my name is Dr. Omer Fleissig – a Board Certified Orthodontist
Ever since I started studying dentistry I’ve always known that orthodontics is what I wanted to practice.
The health and the aesthetic appearance of the smiles I design, the interaction with my patients of all ages, and the thought process I need to go through each day in order to find the best-fitting treatment for each of my patients – are what gives me daily satisfaction.
Striving for Excellence is more than just a slogan for me. It is what I do daily with my patients.
I finished my dentistry studies (DMD) with excellence in 2012 at the faculty of Dental Medicine of the Hebrew University and Hadassah in Jerusalem.
At the same time, I finished with excellence my research degree (M.Sc), at the Institute of Basic Sciences of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the Hebrew University and Hadassah in Jerusalem.
I’m a board certified orthodontist
I finished my orthodontics residency in 2017 at the Department of Orthodontics of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the Hebrew University and Hadassah in Jerusalem.
Since then, I’ve been a member of the Israeli Orthodontics Society.
In addition to working as an orthodontist, I also teach dental medicine students and residents of the Department of Orthodontics in the faculty of dental medicine of the Hebrew University and Hadassah.
In addition to that, I’m a basic science researcher at the Department of Orthodontics of the Hebrew University and Hadassah medical centre.
I am conducting an advanced research in the field of orthodontics and have already published several articles in professional scientific journals.
“…A good doctor is an eternal student…”
I believe that a doctor who doesn’t keep been updated with new methods and expanding his knowledge, isn’t only stuck in place but is actually going back!
For this reason, I make sure to always be aware of the newest, most modern methods and use the most advanced technologies in my clinic, by, among another things, regularly attending professional conferences and meetings in Israel and abroad.
I am a member of the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) and a member of the European Orthodontic Society (EOS).
